Rick-leadershipRichard Gerwin, President / Lead Project Manager

Rick brings more than 15 years of carpentry, mitigation and estimating experience to ServiceMaster. He has been with the company since 2001 working alongside the previous 2 generations of ownership. His background and leadership abilities have made him a vital part of the ServiceMaster Family.

His IICRC certifications, experience and management has been exemplified in his unique ability to connect with the homeowners who have had a devastating loss and reassure them throughout the process. Rick’s hands-on approach to his management style encourages our employees to emulate him in the work they do.

Rick was raised in Anchorage, AK and enjoys spending time with his Golden Retriever, traveling, and adventuring in the great outdoors.

Kara MacDonald, Vice president / Director of Communications

Kara brings a strong background in marketing and business development to ServiceMaster. Her experience includes 12 years of residential construction, creating and implementing programs to streamline business.

She has an outstanding track record of leadership and execution since joining ServiceMaster in 2008, and she brings greater focus to our team approach at ServiceMaster. Kara is an essential part of ServiceMaster’s team and also helps to manage client and adjuster relationships by being the calm in the “chaos”.

Kara was born, raised and educated in Alaska. Kara is a licensed Realtor and has helped several clients buy and sell their properties for the past 15 years. She is also a member of the Women Entrepreneurs’ of Alaska Group and continually strives to demonstrate her company’s core values.

Tevita Finau / Project Manager

Tevita brings over 6 years of project management experience to Service Master in operations, logistics, and scheduling. His background ranges from landscape construction to remodeling with skills in plumbing and electrical work and is a certified IICRC Water Restorer Technician.

Tevita is an integral part of the Service Master team, bringing a can-do attitude to the job that lets our customers know they are in good, capable hands. He puts the needs of our clients first and encourages our crew to give you the Service Master experience you deserve.

Tevita, a third generation Tongan-American, was raised in Alaska and graduated from West High School. He enjoys family-time, religion and rugby. Tevita brings heart to Service Master.

Goldie Stone / Controller

Goldie’s name says it all! She is our golden girl and keeps the energy going in a sometimes overwhelming situation. Goldie has an extensive background in accounting. She also has a talent for customer support and being our “HUB” for all activity in and out of the office.

Goldie ensures the accounting operations of the company are running smoothly, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure all customers are taken care of properly.

Goldie was raised in Utah and Alaska. She is our “go to gal” and our right hand. We could not run the show without her and we are thankful to have such a caring, fun, and compassionate employee. She manages all jobs, makes sure the technicians are on their “A” game, and gives our customers the attention they deserve.

Wes / Project Manager

Wes joined with Service Master Anchorage in January of 2017. His previous experience as a supervisor with Spinell Homes allowed him to step right into the role of project manager. He has multiple systems in place to be able to run all our jobs with weekly schedules to ensure all the pieces come together in the right order. He does all the scheduling of our crews, our subcontractors, and any specialized trades that are needed. In essence, he is the master juggler. Wes’s great organization skills allow him to keep all our projects scheduled in a timely manner. His gratification comes at the end of the job when we have a happy customer who is thrilled with how their home came together. When Wes is not organizing Service Master he enjoys the relaxation of getting out in our great state, soaking up the peace in the outdoors. A quiet creek and a fishing pole make for a great day.
